At Yemanyá Expeditions, we intentionally keep our groups small because we believe the ocean should never feel rushed or crowded. Smaller groups allow for personalized attention, a more relaxed atmosphere, and enough space for everyone to fully enjoy the experience. Whether you're snorkeling for the first time or you're an experienced diver, our goal is to make every guest feel comfortable, safe, and connected to the ocean.

Yemanyá Expeditions was founded by Alexa, a Costa Rican Dive Instructor and ocean enthusiast who remains actively involved in every experience. Rather than operating from behind the scenes, she guides tours, assists guests in the water, and helps maintain the welcoming atmosphere that defines our company. Our local knowledge, passion, and hands-on approach allow us to create adventures that feel personal, genuine, and unforgettable.

It was amazing. The boat ride to the beautiful island was fun and we saw some dolphins. Both of the snorkeling experiences were amazing and we saw turtles, sharks, beautiful fish and so on. Lunch was delicious. We really enjoied it.

We had such an incredible time on this snorkel tour! We saw 4 manta rays, many reef sharks, three turtles and so many fish that I've never seen before. It was perfectly set up to have leisure and adventure with the beach visits between the snorkel trips. I highly recommend this tour! 🙂

It was a a worthwhile experience. We got to see so many colorful fish, stingray, turtles and even a baby shark. Claudia was very informative. Food at his restaurant was awesome too! Would highly recommend.

My favourite day of my holiday! The guide Brandon was great- very personable and knowledgeable about all the marine life. The captain was cool also! We saw lots of beautiful sealife in the ocean and from the boat. The lunch was delicious. 10/10 experience. I would go every day if i could!

The snorkeling was incredible, we saw many fish and dozen of sea turtle, unforgetable experience. Our guide Brandon was so nice and showed us a lot of things. Beside of that all the little things like the beer, fruits and lunch included was really nice!
